Every one of Envoy's September 2026 releases points at the same idea: your front desk, your compliance data, and your access control can become more powerful by working off the same system of record, not separate ones you have to reconcile by hand.
The result is a more complete picture of who's on-site, who's been verified, and who has access — and that's what Envoy's platform is built to do.

Visitor management that keeps front desk traffic flowing
A smooth visitor experience depends on flexibility behind the scenes. These updates give hosts and admins more ways to accommodate visitors without slowing down the sign-in process.
- Toggle your badge printing preference: By default, a badge prints after a visitor successfully signs in using the kiosk. If you want to disable automatic badge printing, toggle this setting to “off” in your Visitor settings. When you turn automatic printing off for a sign-in flow, your printer stays paired.

- Upload documents on a visitor's behalf: Now, if a visitor can't complete their uploads themselves ahead of time — or a document needs to be added at the last minute — visitor hosts can upload it on the visitor’s behalf, directly on the invite or entry record, so the visit isn't held up waiting on paperwork.

Verification and reporting that hold up under scrutiny
When a security review or audit calls for visitor data, you shouldn't have to piece it together manually. These updates make it easier to standardize exports and pull the information you need, with a more complete picture of approvals, screening, visits, and required documentation.
- Visitor log report and export templates: Save an export configuration — like date range, visitor type, fields, format — as a named template and reuse it, at a single location or across all locations and available to anyone with export access to create and use. Templates support dynamic ranges like "past 7 days," so the same template stays accurate every time you run it. Exports also now include the full compliance picture — approvals, screening results, expanded visit details, and legal document and assessment data — grouped by category. The moment you export the file, it’s ready for audit.

Automate who's let on-site, and keep access systems in sync
Every visitor invited, updated, or removed in Envoy should be reflected where your security team is watching — not living in separate systems. These integrations streamline access control so teams don't have to reconcile visitor information across platforms.
- Cove access control: With the Cove integration, guest access syncs automatically: a visitor invited in Envoy is provisioned in Cove, and credentials activate the moment they sign in on-site. Control exactly who gets access with default or per-flow access duration, restrict credentials to pre-invited guests only, and keep specific sign-in flows off Cove entirely with an optional blocklist.

- Genetec integration now available in EU: The Genetec integration with Envoy sends a record of every visitor who signs in on your kiosk, creating an identity within the Security Desk. Upon sign-in, you can then use all of Genetec’s features for your visitors, such as badge provisioning, security alerts, and more. While this integration has been available in the US, this integration is now available for customers in the EU.
