Workplaces typically run on more than one system. Your HR platform holds the employee record. Your ops team wants delivery data in its own reporting tools. Your leadership wants a printed floor plan. When those systems and records don't connect on their own, someone ends up doing the connecting by hand.
July's product releases give your team more ways to connect Envoy to what you're already using, with fewer reasons to leave the Envoy platform to get something done. From a new Developer API for Deliveries, to HRIS directory sync, and a clearer record of map changes — here's what shipped this month.
Connect Envoy to the tools you already run
Your workplace data doesn't live in Envoy alone; it needs to move to and from the systems your team already depends on for HR and reporting. These releases make that connection automatic, so your records stay accurate without manual busywork.
- Manage Deliveries with new endpoints in the Developer API: Deliveries are now fully supported in Envoy's public Developer API. This means that customers can pull deliveries into their own tools and reporting, create deliveries in Envoy from external mailroom and package management systems, and manage delivery records programmatically instead of relying on dashboard exports or manual checks. From the Dev Dashboard, developers can list, fetch, create, and delete deliveries using the Deliveries API.

- Connect HR software to Envoy & power your employee directory: After you install the HRIS integration, keep your Envoy employee directory up to date by syncing with your HR system, including Workday, BambooHR, ADP, and Paylocity. HRIS directory sync treats your HR platform as the source of truth, so employee additions, updates, and removals flow into Envoy automatically — no more chasing directory changes by hand.

Keep visitor check-in running, even when the printer isn't
A jammed badge printer at 9am shouldn't be the thing that slows down your front desk. This release gives admins a faster way to catch and fix connection issues before they turn into a line of frustrated visitors.
- Troubleshoot your Wi-Fi connected printer: Quickly diagnose Wi-Fi and Ethernet printer issues directly from your iPad kiosk. The new Printer Status page lets you check your Brother QL-820NWB's connection, print a test badge, and run a layered network diagnostic to pinpoint connectivity issues. This update helps you restore badge printing faster and reduce visitor check-in disruptions.

More visibility and control over your workplace mapÂ
Your workplace map isn't just a diagram. It's where seating changes get made and where questions about who approved what get answered. These releases make the map easier to share with anyone who needs it, and easier to trust when something changes.
- Export workplace maps as SVG or PNG: Download a static version of any floor plan to print, attach to an email, or share with stakeholders. Toggle and preview what's on the exported map, like desks, rooms, points of interest, assignee names/initials, desk names, and neighborhood colors and labels. Resize markers and labels independently to optimize for different floor plan sizes.

- Audit logs for move management: Build trust and reduce operational disruption with a log that tracks published changes to your workplace map. This enhancement to the Event Log (formerly Activity Log) lets you track critical changes made from the workplace map — like desk and reservation changes made by users, move tasks from the Move Queue, and desk lending updates — so admins have a clear record of who changed what, and when.

A platform that plugs into how your team already works
The best workplace platform is the one your team barely has to think about, because the data moves where it needs to go on its own. July's releases connect Envoy more deeply to your HR and reporting systems, keep your front desk running when hardware hiccups, and give you a clearer, more shareable record of what's happening on your workplace map.
