Today I'm excited to welcome OfficeTogether to Envoy as our latest strategic acquisition in building the future of work!

I am reminded of the early days of founding Envoy when I saw what OfficeTogether had been able to accomplish in two short years. A small team hustling to deliver a platform in a fast-changing industry, with elegant tech, well-known customers and a strong culture of rapid iteration. I knew that together, we could do so much more for the workplace as one company. The OfficeTogether team will accelerate our development of a more thoughtful, community-oriented workplace with a number of strategic product initiatives. OfficeTogether's founder Amy Yin, and I were introduced through our board advisor Asiff Hirji, who knew Amy from his time as the President of Coinbase. When I first met Amy back in 2020, I knew she and her team were people who would accomplish big things. There are a lot of ambitious people out there, but ambitious people with energy focused on making the workplace experience top-notch, that's something the world can get excited about!

The way we do work keeps changing. Hybrid work is taking over – and in some big ways it’s proving to be quite effective. But doing hybrid well is hard. OfficeTogether was a company born during a pandemic - hybrid working was the only way they had ever known as an organization. The team, like ours, deeply understands the pains of commuting through traffic, only to find your coworkers ... back on Zoom. We understand that an office is not just a place to work - it’s a watering hole, meant to stoke creativity and connection. And booking a conference room for 8 people only to have 6 people dial in via Zoom is a surefire way to stoke anger in a crowded office where employees fight for meeting rooms. These are all inefficiencies that can be fixed by great technology.

The future is really exciting. People are returning to the workplace. And we've never felt more confident we can remain on top of this new uncharted world by leaning on the latest technology. We welcome Amy, Willy, Becca, Vikas and Alex as new Envoys and look forward to getting great new creations out for everyone.

We spend a majority of our waking hours working and with our coworkers. We are hiring a world-class team to help make the experience of working in the office transformative - join us! Be prepared to dogfood your own workplace software in the office and to help us be our own worst critics.

The future of work won't happen by accident, so come help us launch and learn in one of the fastest evolving industries that exists right now!
