After months of researching, testing, and diving into the world of digital signage, I’m excited to finally announce that we’re launching Envoy Screens!

Screens allows you to manage all your screen-based devices across your workplaces, globally (think TVs, conference rooms, kiosks, tablets and more). Once paired, you can assign and schedule content like images, videos, URLs, Google Slideshows and Powerpoint presentations. This is all powered by Envoy’s existing enterprise analytics, user roles, audit-log and SSO.

Why Digital Signage?

Envoy actually started off with a screen-based experience back in the day: our Visitors iOS app. Visitors continues to power front-of-house security for thousands of workplaces. As we grew, we added more screen-based experiences, like our Rooms and Deliveries apps. Most recently we’ve launched our Maps app, which is a 3D, interactive, searchable map of your workplace with live people and room statuses, room booking and more. While testing Maps, we heard from our customers: now that we’re pairing one TV to Envoy, can we start pairing the rest of our screens and can we show our own content on there too?

What they were really asking us for was a digital signage management system. At first we were apprehensive, did it make sense to enter the already-crowded digital signage space? After extensive research, the answer was clear: there’s an opportunity to bring what Envoy is known for, simplifying complicated workflows and automating manual processes through lovable software, to digital signage.

Screens isn’t just digital signage, it’s a connected experience across all our products that modernizes your workplace – it feels like the future.

We’d love to have you try it, so we’re giving all existing customers 5 free screens. Don’t worry though, if you’re new to Envoy, feel free to start a trial.
