Of the roughly 700 million people who drive to work each day, not one of them does so for the thrill of circling the parking lot. After navigating traffic, school drop-offs, and bridge tolls, employees just want to get to their desk, meet with teammates, and get things done. But before any of that can happen, they need to find a parking spot.
For many commuters, parking is one of the most stressful and unpredictable parts of the workday. That’s why we’re excited to announce that Envoy Workplace now extends all the way to the parking lot. In addition to reserving desks and meeting rooms, employees can now book parking spots directly in the Envoy app — making their commute smoother and their arrival more predictable.

With this new feature, you can simplify the start of every workday, reduce administrative overhead, and make smarter decisions about your real estate footprint.
Envoy Parking allows you to:
- Designate spots by team, location, or type. Assign attributes to spots (EV charging, carpool priority, etc.) to help employees make informed reservations.
- Streamline administration. Replace manual parking lists or spreadsheets with a centralized system that updates in real time.
- Support equity and flexibility. Incorporate reservation rules or rotation policies by day, team, or seniority — perfect for hybrid work.
Fuel real estate decisions with data
Smart parking isn’t just an employee perk – it’s a powerful workplace planning tool. As employees roll in, so does valuable data. Track parking demand alongside room and desk usage for a fuller picture of occupancy trends and real estate demand. See if any lots are underutilized or overburdened so you can reduce unnecessary leased spaces or reallocate spots. Accurately forecast demand for space, staffing, and services based on comprehensive, unified insights.
Give your RTO strategy a tune-up
Parking availability often plays a key role in whether employees choose to come into the office. By enabling reservations, you eliminate one of the most common RTO friction points while signaling that you’re invested in the entire employee experience–from driveway to desk. With parking data in hand, you can also build more flexible, data-informed policies that adapt to your workforce’s ever-evolving needs.
Shift operational efficiency into high gear
Parking isn’t a standalone problem–it’s a critical part of the broader workplace experience. By consolidating tools and vendors, you reduce complexity and streamline workflows across your tech stack. Parking reservations integrate seamlessly alongside room, desk, and employee management, giving admins a centralized system that replaces manual tracking and shared spreadsheets with real-time availability and automation. For employees, this means less stress in the morning with the reassurance that they’ll arrive on time, ready to dive into their day.
Powering a more confident commute
As hybrid work continues to reshape how and where employees work, having the flexibility to adapt parking resources to changing demands is critical. With this update, Envoy Workplace not only addresses immediate needs but also equips organizations with the tools to future-proof their operations. Parking will be available this July on Envoy Workplace Premium and above.
